At the Detroit Auto Show Mercedes-Benz rolled out two new hybrid E-Class vehicles, a diesel and a gasoline version. Mercedes-Benz has dubbed the E300 diesel hybrid as the "world's most economical luxury-class model." Although the diesel will launch in Europe, the US will see the gasoline E400 hybrid first and Japan China and other countries following. There has not been a set price yet for the hybrid E-Class vehicles but Mercedes-Benz did say that the "extra cost involved here is only moderate."
