So Long Mercedes-Benz R-Class. Mercedes-Benz of Santa Rosa Will Miss You.

We heard Mercedes-Benz was planning to discontinue the R-Class crossover for the 2013 model year a while back. Since, we've been hoping such whisperings would prove to be false. Sure, we get the fact that smaller CUVs are hot and there's really nothing petite about the R-Class. Rather, with seating for up to seven people, it's quite substantial in size. But, for drivers needing that kind of room - it's a Shangri-La on wheels.

Six of the R-Class models' seven, plush seats feature a reclining seatback; all offer generous legroom. And unlike your typical family hauler, the R-Class offers amazing performance - near the top of its class. Perhaps more impressive, though - and dare we say unexpected, given the vehicle's statement-making size - is its best-in-class safety.

But, enough pontificating...The real reason Mercedes-Benz of Santa Rosa serving Santa Rosa, Sonoma, Napa and Bay Area is writing today is to alert drivers across the U.S. that R-Class availability is extremely short-lived.

Mercedes-Benz has recently confirmed plans to pull the plug on the young model. And, with 2013 models already entering the market, this means it's not long for our world.  "Our World" meaning the U.S. Reports suggest drivers in Canada and China will have a bit more time to get their hands on the venerable model - three years or so.

Curious to learn more about the many advantages the Mercedes-Benz R-Class promises to bring to your life before it's too late? Be sure to swing by 2881Corby Ave. Santa Rosa, CA 95407 at your earliest convenience. And remember if "smaller" strikes your fancy, the favorite, GLK-Class compact SUV also graces our showroom floors.
